My own Totoro

Totoro is the big guy below. It's a character in the film Tonari no Totoro, in english My Neighbor Totoro, 1988, by Hayao Miyazaki. It's a very nice film where fantasy touches reality and where we need to believe so then we can be able to see this big friend. I really enjoyed this movie and a strong desire to own a personal Totoro grew inside. In Portugal it is somewhat difficult to get this kind of figures, the japanese anime and manga market is still expanding.
Considering the facts, I decided to make my own in crochet. Here it is a taste of my unfinished Totoro (no eyes yet). There's a image so you can compare my Totoro. Hope you like it. :P

Esta boneca foi-me encomendada por uma amiga, como presente para a mãe. Tem aproximadamente 15 cm. Foi a minha primeira boneca deste estilo e fiquei muito orgulhosa com o resultado. ^^
